CLEVELAND, OH (December 16, 2008) – Arisdyne Systems, an alternative fuel cavitation technology and equipment company headquartered in Cleveland, recently recruited Dr. Peter Reimers as President and CEO. Reimers brings substantial experience in the global biodiesel and ethanol markets to strengthen Arisdyne’s position in the competitive biofuel industry.
"We are pleased to have someone with Peter’s unique and extensive biodiesel expertise on board," said Fred Clarke, Executive Vice President of Arisdyne Systems. "His knowledge of alternative fuel technologies, combined with a global agri-business perspective and deep appreciation of Arisdyne’s proprietary Controlled Flow Cavitation systems, will allow us to develop and implement global strategy initiatives more quickly and expand the services we offer to our customers."
Reimers’ exceptional career path has made him a well-known operations and strategy contributor in the biofuels industry. He started his engineering career at ADM, the global agricultural products company, where he built and then managed one of the largest, most efficient biodiesel plants. From there Reimers relocated to ADM’s world headquarters where he learned agricultural commodity trading business and participated in several Research and Development projects. His concurrent participation and leadership involvement on the European & National Biodiesel Boards further expanded his knowledge of the political and economic factors impacting the future direction of alternative energy and biofuel solutions. Following his assignment at the Global Headquarters, he was appointed General Manager of the world’s largest biodiesel business. Prior to joining Arisdyne, Reimers led a blue ribbon project to establish a research center to assess future technologies and strategies in advanced biofuel products and processes.
Reimers has a Ph.D. in Global Economics from Graz University of Technology in Austria. He was a member of several biofuel/alternative energy working groups sponsored by the EU commission and the German government.
As President and CEO, Reimers will be responsible for working with Arisdyne’s board, planning strategies for the company’s growth, and working with key management personnel to promote Arisdyne’s controlled flow cavitation systems for biofuels applications. His experience will benefit Arisdyne as the company expands its customer base and identifies new opportunities to improve biofuel processes and technologies.
