Biodiesel production begins with the reaction of an alcohol, triglycerides (plant or animal oil), and a catalyst.
In our process, the streams are precisely dosed and mixed into the Controlled Flow Cavitation™ (CFC™) zone. The power of cavitation creates micro droplets which form an emulsion. Precise process control ensures a tightly controlled, repeatable droplet size distribution.
Superior mixing and high droplet surface area allows for the fastest and most efficient reaction in the industry. Dwell time is virtually eliminated, reducing WIP risk. Once waste products are removed, the highest grade ASTM 6751 B100 biodiesel fuel is the result.
Arisdyne Systems’ integrated package uses a skid mounted, modular design. Once utilities are in place, installation is essentially plug-and-play. The continuous process design allows customers to redeploy large holding or settling tanks for finished products downstream. The footprint required for product volume equivalent to conventional systems is greatly reduced. Consequently, plant costs per gallon of biodiesel production can be lowered, and barriers to growth diminish.
The systems fully integrate automated parameter controls. The controls ensure the system consistently exceeds ASTM standards. Automated controls and continuous flow processing also reduce labor costs. System maintenance requirements are also reduced due to the static design. When maintenance is needed, Arisdyne Systems provides full service troubleshooting and spare parts support.
Arisdyne Systems continues to improve their state-of-the-art biodiesel systems. Upstream processing of feedstocks and processes downstream from our reactor system are being streamlined to accomodate continuous flow and CFC technologies. In-line removal of glycerol, methanol, and waste products is also being addressed. Excess methanol and catalyst may be continuously recycled. Secondary addition of anti-gel agents offer further opportunities to accelerate and improve the overall system.
