Arisdyne Systems Installs Biodiesel Reactor for Middletown Biofuels

Proprietary Biofuel Process More Than Doubles Company's Production

CLEVELAND, OH (January 19, 2008) – Arisdyne Systems, a biofuels technology and equipment company headquartered in Cleveland, recently installed a biodiesel reactor for Middletown Biofuels, a wholly-owned subsidiary of CQ, Inc, that will produce high-quality biodiesel for the transportation industry.

"We are thrilled to transform their plant into a continuously operating factory that produces high-quality biodiesel fuel, and I want to commend Clark Harrison, the CEO of CQ, Inc., for taking this leap of faith," explained Fred Clarke, President of Arisdyne Systems. "Besides recognizing the value of our patented process, he took a risk by convincing his operation to embrace our systems. I want to give him all the credit for bringing this innovative project to fruition."

"Arisdyne’s scientists and engineers worked alongside CQ staff to make the conversion. It was truly a collaborative effort. The new reactor system has already more than doubled production," said Clark Harrison, President of CQ, Inc. "It offers more consistent quality in our output, and the instantaneous reaction powered by Arisdyne’s continuous flow cavitation design allows us to move beyond our time-consuming old batch-processing method."

The biodiesel reactor offers Middletown enhanced output predictability, both in quality and in quantity. For the first time, Middletown has shifted to a continuous flow system, a more efficient means of production than their previous batch process. Actual production is closer to three million gallons per year, reports Biofuels Project Leader Glen Shirey, even though the system’s estimated production level is two million gallons per year. In addition to the quantity advantages afforded by the new reactor, it also produces 99.85% pure fuel that exceeds the “Certifiable Biodiesel Grade” of 99.75%. The 0.1% margin allows the staff at Middleton to experiment with different feed stock fuel recipes, a flexibility that would not be possible with a smaller margin, said Shirey. A second system will be installed in Middletown the first quarter 2008.

Arisdyne Systems specializes in the design, development, and implementation of fully integrated Continuous Flow Cavitation systems for biofuel production. As the pioneering authority in the use of cavitation to produce biofuels, they are at the forefront of America’s alternative energy industry with 19 U.S. patents and more than 50 international patents.
