CLEVELAND, OH (January 30, 2009) – Dr. Peter Reimers, President of Arisdyne Systems, an alternative fuel cavitation technology and equipment company headquartered in Cleveland, will give a keynote presentation on the potential global impact of the new European Union Directive for Sustainability on February 3 at the National Biodiesel Board Show in San Francisco, California.
"I’m looking forward to the opportunity to speak to so many biodiesel industry stakeholders," said Reimers. "Sharing my understanding of the industry trends outside of the United States with the conference attendees provides a forum for discussing the larger economic environment and how the biodiesel industry will likely grow in a more sustainability-focused environment."
The National Biodiesel Board Show is the annual industry trade show for producers, marketers, suppliers, and regulators of the biodiesel industry. It features presentations by leaders in the biofuels industry, as well as networking events for biodiesel industry stakeholders and an expo of more than 400 exhibitors showing the newest developments in biodiesel products and services.
Reimers’ exceptional career path has made him a well-regarded operations and strategy contributor in the biofuels industry. He started his engineering career at ADM, the global agricultural products company, where he built and then managed one of the largest, most efficient biodiesel plants. His concurrent participation and leadership involvement on the European & National Biodiesel Boards further expanded his knowledge of the political and economic factors impacting the future direction of alternative energy and biofuel solutions.
Reimers worked in ADM’s Global Headquarters in commodity trading and research assessment before being appointed General Manager of the world’s largest biodiesel business. Just prior to joining Arisdyne, Reimers led a blue ribbon project to establish a research center to assess future technologies and strategies in advanced biofuel products and processes.
